First and foremost, the personal data processed is either provided to us by you directly is collected when operating our website. We might also receive personal data about you from third parties. This might include the following categories:

a. Principle

3.5 Data storage period

Personal data is only stored by us as long as necessary in order to fulfil the individual purposes of the data collected. The personal data collected by us, when visiting our website, is stored for a period of twelve months. An exception applies for the analysis and tracking data, which might be stored for a longer period. ​

Contract data is stored for a longer period, as we are obliged by law. We are obliged to store business communications, concluded contracts and accounting documents for up to 10 years. If such data is no longer needed to perform the services, the data will be blocked and it is only used for accounting and tax purposes.

Your data is securely stored by us, and we will take all reasonable measures to protect your data from loss, access, misuse or alteration. Our contractual partners and employees with granted access to your data are obliged to comply with the data protection regulations.

The erasure or rectification of your data can be requested by you at any time. The request might be rejected by us, if we are obliged to store the data for a longer period or to store it unchanged due to statutory provisions, or if your request conflicts with a legal requirement.

 

Please note that exercising your rights might conflict with contractual agreements and might have a corresponding impact on the performance of the contract (e.g. premature termination of the contract or cost consequences).

​4.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files

a. What information is transferred to us and how is the information used?

When visiting www.imhoftreuhand.com, certain data is automatically stored on our servers or on servers of services and products that we purchase and/or have installed for the purposes of system administration or for statistical, backup or tracking purposes. This is specifically related to the following data:

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer in order to enable the user analysis of the website.

 

The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

For various office and communication tasks, we use Microsoft 365, a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.

 

Microsoft 365 offers a range of productivity tools, including email (Outlook), document storage (OneDrive), collaboration tools (Teams) and Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. If we are contacted or in case documents should be shared with us, these interactions are processed and stored via Microsoft 365.

 

Microsoft uses servers in different countries to provide the Microsoft 365 services. This means that your data might be stored in data centers outside Switzerland. However, Microsoft has implemented various security and data protection measures to protect its customers' data.

 

4.5 Wix

Wix.com Ltd. Is an online platform that enables users to create their own websites and online stores. The company is based at 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel.

 

On our website, we use Wix as a platform for creating and managing our online presence. This includes the presentation of content, the hosting of images and videos, the provision of contact forms and, if necessary, the operation of an online store.

These include cookies, web beacons and similar technologies that are used to improve the user experience, analyse website performance and provide personalized advertising.
